Scotty, my aunt and uncle on a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan with 68,000 miles on it and they’ve already went through two sets of brakes since they bought it brand new back in 2013. Now after the second brake job it’s getting significantly worse gas mileage than before this last break job was done. Never seen or heard of this happen to anyone I know. Why is this happening?

Improperly installed brake pads could drag, reducing mileage and wearing out quickly. The rotors would get hot after a few miles, so CAREFULLY check them to see if any/all are hot.
If not, wearing out brake pads that fast? Perhaps your relatives are driving with a foot on the brake more of the time than necessary.
