Scotty , The oil im putting into my 13b (street ported) rotary is 20W-50 Royal purple with synerlic , (not factory spec) its been running reliably and like a dream. I'm a firm believer that not all but some vehicles do need the thicker stuff , in your experience what are the drawbacks of putting thicker oil into vehicles that require thinner stuff

yes those are better with thicker oil because of that crazy engines design which has a tendency of burning oil and wearing out seals anyway
