Hi,

I have 2002 Mercedes S320 CDI with 239 000 miles. After 2 days without driving, 6 mo old battery was dead. Before the same happened with another new battery after 2 weeks without driving. Parasitic Battery Drain test shows 50 mA.

How to find what might cause this unusual battery drain?

Thanks, Adam

50mA is not unusual. It's completely normal.

How are you determining that the battery is dead?

I know that 50mA is normal.

I used digital battery tester Micro 200 Pro.

Again, how to find what might cause this unusual battery drain?

Hi,

If possible, I would like for Scotty Kilmer to answer my question.

I have 2002 Mercedes S320 CDI with 239 000 miles. After 2 days without driving, 6 mo old battery was dead (no lights inside car, starter dead). Before the same happened with another new battery after 2 weeks without driving. Parasitic Battery Drain test shows 50 mA.

How to find what might cause this unusual battery drain?

MountainManJoe instead of answering my question, asked question. Did not respond to my answer. Useless advisor. Same goes for Yaser.

Thanks, Adam
