Should I get rid of my rodent infested Tundra

I have a 2016 Tundra Limited w/ 77,000miles.
Use it to tow my travel trailer and occasional horse trailer.
I love, love, love this truck!

problem is mice got into the truck, packed every corner with dog food. Ate insulation and now the sensor harness.

my son is a HEM for Cal Fire, he said it threw codes P1604 P032D P033D

Apparently, the harness is deep in the engine and he doesn’t have the time to take it down and is afraid if he finds more problems, I won’t have a vehicle until he gets time and parts.

I don’t want to do that to him..

so my questions for you are;

1) Do I fix what I can then sell the truck because goodness knows what else could go wrong and I don’t want to be stranded alone…

2) Fix it and keep it

3) If I do sell it, what do I buy? The new Tundras have V6’s

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with all of us!
Your advise is paramount in my decision.

Thank you,

sherry

Fix it and keep it.  Then invest in peppermint oil, Decon and a rubber snake to keep the mice away.  And lock up the dog food.

Thank you!💯
