so I drive a 2010 Lexus is250 and I just did an oil change like 2 days ago from now and whenever I tried to drive the car it seemed like that transmission is slipping but the only symptom of it was just me pressing on the gas and the rpms would rise but the car wouldn’t move unless the rpm was like at 7 so I just wanted some opinions on what could it possibly be and keep in mind I bought the car at an auction so I really don’t know it’s history.

The Lexus would NOT move when its revved to 7 grand RPM in gear?   Well if thats the case NOW you know why it was at the auction.  On a flat surface engine running and at idle and you put it in gear it should move immediately.  Revving it up does nothing but cause more damage what damage was done already.

You need to go to a repair facility and have them see what the skinny is really about before it does not even move anymore.

could be as simple as vaccuum leak, go find a decently priced and experienced mechanic and ask him to scan it for you see if he sees anything un usual. i wouldnt recommend taking it to lexus dealer as they would exaggerate repair bills to encourage you to trade in
