I have a 99 isuzu rodeo that i just bought not too long ago. The cig lighter terminal is missing entirely from the fuse box...i cannot put a fuse in it at all. The OBD port runs off this circuit (I think, i cannot find it on any diagram on the Hayne's manual) and since it has no power it is throwing a check engine light. Can I fix this without needing to remove the dashboard? Or will I need to disassemble it?
On your "99 Isuzu Rodeo it looks like the power to Pin 16 on the Data Link Connector (DLC) comes from the Horn Fuse, not the cig lighter fuse.

I tried loading this page in Chrome (I'm usually in Firefox), and the image is still broken.
I'm unable to connect to either. I usually use imgbox.com, but there have been a few times that's been unavailable as well.

That's why if the image isn't cached on your computer from looking at my post when they were up, you won't be able to see the wiring diagram

OK. In fact when I was replying to the guy with blower motor issues I had to use imgur.com to post a picture of a resistor assembly for the manual HVAC controls because I couldn't access those 2 "currently down" image hosting websites

Jack I'm not here to dictate to people what hosting to use. I'm just sharing my experience, and offering advice that I believe will give you the greatest success. I used to use postimage exclusively but the problems frustrated me so much I gave up on them. Imgur (which I sort of dislike for their political censoring policies, and the ugly self promoting banners they put on hosted images) seems to be the biggest and most reliable provider without upload limits. Before I settled on it, I made the mistake of trying a smaller site (imageupload.io) to host images , and I used them to upload a bunch of images for my electrical troubleshooting article. The site went down permanently and took all my hand picked and edited images with them. 😥

Why not just wire around the bad terminal with an inline fuse?
