scotty, i have an 04 isuzu rodeo 4x4 with 3.5L direct injection and an Aisin AW30-40LS automatic transmission, this transmission has a stand alone Transmission Control Module (TCM) that communicates with the GDI engine ECM using a CanBus interface. the car is absolutely mint, zero rust, interior like new, frame still has paint and bar codes, it has 139,000 miles (btw Upper Ohio Valley mega rust zone) but the transmission keeps intermittently giving me improper voltage to TCM and goes to limp mode until i reset/erase the code and restart the car, when this happens i also get a speed sensor error, and shifting to second is extremely late, however if i sit with brake applied after moving a few feet, everything is normal, and even wierder, sometimes this happens immediately after using reverse, any knowledge about these honda/isuzu dinosaurs? being that its in suxh great shape and otherwise like new, whats your take on sinking money into these buggers?

Personally, I wouldn't send money into those things. They're junk as they age. That's why they don't sell too many of those here in the states. But you could check both wiring and the ground system of the wiring. Maybe it's got a simple problem like a bad ground somewhere in the transmission control system
