Hi - My 2013 Audi A3 8P 2.0T (85,000 miles) has about 15 misfires on cylinder 2 every time it starts in the morning, then a few more sporadically. It settles down after it warms up. I swapped coils and plugs, but the misfires stay on cylinder 2. It is a direct injection engine so I was wondering if you think it is more likely to be carbon buildup on the air intake valves or a failing fuel injector. Not sure if there is a way to tell. I repair my own vehicles for the past 15 years so I keep the costs down for my Audi and BMW that way. I love the way they drive. Love the youtube channel! Daily watcher.
Well, those engines are the most known for failures. They're absolute garbages they age. I have an Audi friend mechanic who said he changes out scores of those every year. You could try having it carbon clean but odds are your engines. Lay it wearing out inside. Do a wet and dry compression test to see what's happening
