Best fuel additive for carbon buildup in turbo engine?

Q? What is the best fuel additive to use in a new 2024 (450km travelled) Nissan Qashqai 3rd gen j12 1.3l turbo cvt engine that uses 98 octane premium fuel? And how often (in km’s driven) should i use it to “prevent” carbon buildup & maintain engine life?

(I know about other engine maintenance tips & driving habits to prevent carbon buildup & prolong engine life) - thanks to your channel 😊 👍

Also i’m selling my toyota 2017 c-hr 1.2l turbo cvt (109,000km travelled) which i’ve owned for a year & have travelled 8,000km, but don’t know the history. What is the best carbon buildup up remover additive to run through it before i sell it? (The engine sounds & runs fine but i just want it in top running condition, or should i not worry about it?)

Thanks, Lisa. Australia.

Nothing, just follow the regular maintenance. Especially the trans. Change the CVT fluid every 30k. Do an early engine oil change to flush out all the break-in material.

since it's a direct injected engine, it may eventually need a valve and intake cleaning (walnut shell blasting or whatever they do these days). Maybe between 60k-100k have it borescoped for that.
