I have a 2009 Mitsubishi Montero Sport (Pajero Sport). It has over 160,000km on it and is a 4x4 AT. I am the original owner and it has not had any transmission work done on it before.
It loses power mid drive and rides rough sometimes. If I shift it to neutral, then back to drive, it will start working again. I used a scanner and got code P1901 - A/T fail (Engine timeout). What does this mean? Is the transmission going out?

Yes it is starting to go out get rid of it soon they cost a fortune to repair on those Mitsubishi's
