Hi Scotty,
My name is Tony and I have a problem with my Mitsubishi Outlander 2011 4 cylinders 2.4
I bought it second hand "one owner" three years ago with 54,000 mile, got it checked at the Mitsubishi dealer and everything was ok. But the problem is in the CVT, it goes up to the 5th gear when it reaches 20 mile per hour and starts struggling to run, if I increase the accelerator a little it struggles more, if accelerate a little bit more it shifts down to the second gear and runs faster than I want. It's even goes to the third gear when it reaches 10 mile per hour, the dealer said this is normal {black}:screaming: and I have to get use to it. N.B. I always drive it using the the shift paddles behind the steering wheel to control the gear. Any advice??
Thank you for your time
Tony
Well one you shouldn't have bought it because they're transmissions stack I would shift it manually myself because it would cost a fortune to have one of those rebuild
