Hi Scotty I have a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta VR6 MK4 with the 5-speed transmission and somehow there's moisture getting in the seatbelts feel kind of wet and the trunk get moisture inside to can you tell me what I need to do I do have a sunroof but I took it some place and they said it wasn't leaking what can I be?
@joey
your sunfroof has a leak, check your door for gaps. remove your sunroof antenna and check for any small crack there. sometimes its very hard to find. the moisture can be a temporary fix, if you can find the leak. can you upload picture?
Not sure how they are design.. but on my bmw there is a drain hole in the sun roof .
Two things can happen it get blocked and causing overflow into the cabin or rhe connecting pipe has come off.
Good thing is water can only go down in theory. Lol. Can you remove any cover or headlight lining ..
Or like people are saying check the door seal
Good luck
Open the sunroof and pour water on the rails. Usually there are two drains on two sides of the sunroof rails and they drain down next to the tires if they are not clogged.
If you do not see that water comes out, it means that the sunroof drain is clogged and needs to be open.
