I bought a pair of struts for the front of my 2007 Hyundai sonata limited 3.3L v6 car. Every video I watched they said theres a notch/key that is on strut to lock in a certain way. Those monroe struts doesn't have that all it have is a grove/indent all the way around it. I called them and tech said it fits that car. Will it work with that indent or do I need to find a strut that has that key. On the car there is 1 bolt that clamps on strut from the fork. I went to autopart store and it was the same.

I also have pictures I'd like to send
The part number will be #182281
Autopart store had the notch all the way around with no key

Wow that's what happens when you buy aftermarket parts they will work but of course they won't work exactly the same I even had some of those aftermarket ones I went through all the trouble of installing them on a customer's car and then the car say it wrong one side was too high or too low I basically don't trust anything Monroe makes these days

That is pictures of what supposed to be and what is not supposed to be
What would happen if I'd install them?
