I bought a 2000 Mustang automatic with 200000 miles on it for 1800. It has a problem overheating and the temperature gauge doesn't work my mechanic said I either need a new cooling system or have a blown head gasket should I stay or move on?
Stay with it, pick up a junked lincoln town car, crown vic 2v 4.6 with the P.I heads or an older mark 8 and take the 4v 4.6 v8 and slap it in the stang. Closest to a cobra you will get.

Idk it depends on if you like the car or not, I know a guy who bought a V8 mustang similar year for $4500 he loves the car, so if you want to move on you could find a nicer one for not a whole lot more
