Should I buy a V6 Mustang?

Is it ok to buy a V6 mustang From 1997 and up, and drive it as a daily driver? I heard that they are somewhat reliable, if they weren't beat up. But they average about 120k between the 97' and 22' in my price range at about 3-8k.

Low mileage V6s are fine, if you make sure to check all of the hoses and such for dry rot. Have a mechanic check it out to be sure. A friend of mine got over 250,000 miles out of a 2004 V6 he had since 2008. It was his first car. The only reason he stopped driving it, is he totaled it in the ice storm in St Louis earlier this year.

Daily driver- no. Weekend toy-maybe. Have a mechanic look it over and make sure that everything functions correctly.

2017 is the last model year offering the V6 in Mustang. It'd be ok if you can find a newer one (2014-2017). I had a 2014 V6 with the 6-spd. manual transmission and it was great and daily drove it without any problems, and it got decent fuel mileage. It was a 1-owner, low miles and well cared for. I had to sell it to fund our kitchen remodel and I'm more of a Chevy girl, so I'd rather do a V6 Camaro.
