So we recently bought a 2018 Gmc canyon after a month of having it parked after a couple of drives we began to feel pulls and tugs when the speed increased on the freeway after telling the agency about the problem they took it into service and changed the converter and the core return, got any advice on whether we should keep the truck or change it for a new?
Clarification: What do you mean by changing the converter?
the paper says that they had to replace the Torque Converter due to poor performance during lock up
Clarification: Which engine and transmission combo?
i think the transmission
In this market, almost anything is worth fixing over replacing. The question is only whether there is a good suspension shop near you

If it’s the 8-speed automatic transmission (8L45) those have been the weak link on many GM vehicles and the trucks are no exception. I would not own out of warranty, especially if you were hoping to keep the vehicle for a long time and put many miles on it. I would get rid of the vehicle with that transmission in this hot seller’s market.
