Evening
In September, I was held at gun point and had my car stolen. I'm fine, but.. the following morning my car was found and was totaled. My question, and how I am as a person... I'm looking for a car that will last 'forever' I do take care of my investments so that's a non issue, but what model would get me to 300,000 miles? Yes, I have the money to pay for a new car completely out right, no car payments.

Firstly, glad you are ok. That's not an experience I'd wish on anyone.
As for the car, new Toyotas and Hondas have great longevity if maintained BUT you want to research the specific model that fits your needs to make sure everything will work for you and there are no major known problems.

Once you decide on a specific model, feel free to post again on here to get additional feedback from members, some of whom may even own a car similar to what you are considering.
Again, sorry for what you went through but you are FAR more important than a car. It can be replaced, and possibly with something you will like even more than what you had.

Plenty of cars that can go 300k, although you may be better off getting a good used one, seems like the newer stuff is built to not last as long.
