Hi Sotty,
I own a Chevy Aveo LT 2010 model, recently i faced this issue. My car's engine turns of while driving in rain... kindly advice me on this.

You probably have worn spark plug wires. Change them.
there are no spark plug wires. It's coil-on-plug

To add to what @yaser said, use good quality wires. Also if you drive often in the rain/waterlogged roads, consider investing in an engine splash guard.
