Oh man this is a tricky one the c6 is pretty good but if you rebuild it you would have to buy a barnet kit a new converter the bands and most likely a valve body and thats if the drums and pump are good now its an old manual transmission its not driven by solenoids or anything it shifts by vaccume and the pressure regulator from the throttle so make sure those two things are good and well adjusted also
