[Solved] Transmission Going?

I own a 2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i. It currently has 123k miles on it and I got it a little over a year ago now with 107k miles on it. In the last few months, however, I have noticed some weird things while driving. At first it would for about 3 to 5 seconds feel as if I ran over one of those side sleep guards that are on the side of freeways to make sure you're not falling asleep. Though I then noticed how my RPMS would then shoot up and go back now. My mechanic said it was a little low on fluid and hoped it helped it a little bit. At first it was all good, though it started to get worse again. So, I decided to put some Lucas oil automatic transmission repair in. The product overall has worked great and has reduced it well. Well in the past week now I noticed my transmission is starting to shift really hard when accelerating or when I am letting go of the gas when I was accelerating it also seems to shift very hard. Would this be my transmission? I did some researched and it looks like it would be 3.5k for a new one plus the labor I would pay my mechanic. At this point I am considering just buying a new car though I am only 20 years old and only make around 28k a year. My credit is good, so I am just going back and forth due to income. Other issues are my alternator will need to be replaced at some point, and my power steering is slowly starting to leak, I also have a small valve cover gasket seeping oil, though the head gaskets as of now are fine and the car is burning no oil.

Sounds accurate. Or you could put in a junkyard one and sell the car in this hot market for the best price you will ever get.

$100 . Small potatoes. Do it yourself in one hour.

power steering is slowly starting to leak

No uncommon. It can stay like that for years.

I also have a small valve cover gasket seeping oil,

Common and happens to be cheap & easy to fix yourself.
