Hi Scotty I love your videos I have a 2000 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 supercharged 5.4 liter V8 engine with automatic transmission 200k miles on it when I'm in the freeway and I accelerate my truck starts to shake and I wasn't sure what it could be that is causing it to shake so I went in to change the the oil and I put a brand new oil filter on it unfortunately it keeps on shaking so I wanted to know what do you advise me to do with this situation
Lots of things can make a vehicle shake but if it shakes when you accelerate generally that's either warn you joints on the drive shaft or pray it's not this the transmission itself going out pretty much 200k is lifespan of those transmission though
So do I put a brand new transmission on my truck or do I go to a salvage yard to find one tell me what you think thanks
First find out what the exact issue is. If you need a transmission, get a factory rebuilt one.
