Mystery Electrical Issues with a 2007 Ford Escape

Hey y'all, I have a 2007 automatic Ford Escape V8 with around 150,000 miles on it. Initially the car shut down after the dashboard blacked out, so after an evaluation I got the alternator changed. However, after about 2 months the same thing happened again. To make a long story short, after swapping out that alternator for a better one, changing the battery several times, changing out the PCM as suggested by the Ford manufacturer, and on top of that the starter, I am back at square one. Even my mechanic has no idea what's going on.

Well realize this. If there's some type of electrical shortness system that will knock the dash out and if you do change the PCM and don't fix that short, it will of course destroy the PCM eventually over time too. I would advise finding expert Ford electronic technician if I were you because you need to know the ins and odds of all the computers and all the modules to fix it without just replacing parts randomly
