Hello,
I took my 2006 Miata for an alignment (as scheduled maintenance). The mechanic told me I should replace upper control arms, and both tie rods. However, the only (barely) clunk I hear and feel comes from the inner tie rod; every other part is pretty much solid (as it should be).
Should I replace only the inner tie rod and/or take it to another alignment shop?

Replace it only if there is play.....

I would if you replace the inner tie rods in the play goes away. Realize people are always trying to sell crap that's how they make a living in the stores and lately the business has been slow in many of them from the virus so try that first
