It depends on your budget and needs as well as their availability in your local market.

Anything with a K-Series 4 Cylinder Engine and a manual transmission.
The 4 cylinders in Acuras have Turbo which usually ends up going out soon especially considering the age and mileage he is looking at.
Update*: K20 4 Cylinder, no turbo, manual transmission.
