Hello, I'm a newer college student that wants to be a nice standard transmission car that's actually practical. My top two options are a 2010 Honda Civic SI coupe with 86k miles and a 2014 Ford Fiesta ST with 165k miles on it. The Fiesta costs $3200 and the Civic has been negotiated down to $4000. Have yet to check either car for issues, but I'm almost certain the ford does. If I go for the Honda, my only real downside is the lack of space and that I'll have to wait until December to buy.
I would wait for the Honda Civic Si. The 2010 model is a good year, just check for any mods and anything that may seem like they drove it hard. $4000 for that low of mileage is a pretty good price so I would buy the Civic Si. The Civic Si will most likely last longer than the Fiesta as the Fiesta has to many miles on it. I know the Fiesta is newer and may have more features, but you could always add features like a new stereo if you want it.
