Need help with 02 Honda Civic LX AT
My sons 02 Honda Civic has an intermittent problem. The AC and radio do not work every now and then. You will turn on the car and the radio does not power up and AC blows hot air. If you turn the car off and wait a few minutes then turn the car back on everything works. We have had the AC compressor replaced, and it has an aftermarket stereo. Aside from replacing relays, not sure where else to check for issues. Any help us appreciated.
On those often the ignition switch wears out and it stops sending power to those devices as it shorts out internally. Why don't you just try a new electrical portion of the ignition switch that will often fix. But if not, realize all those things are ultimately run by computer microprocessors and they can be held to diagnose
