Hello,
I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata. It’s a disaster now. Class action lawsuit. Hyundai doesn’t seem to want to admit the engine has major problems. My car drinks a quart of oil a month.
I need to buy another car. I rank that right up there with going to the dentist, but do you have any suggestions? I have owned a Honda Civic in the past. Heard Toyota’s are very good. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

hyundai is garbage. get my car: honda accord
Absolutely, go Toyota or Honda (without the 1.5L turbo) and call it a day. They will last probably 2-3 times longer than that rolling pile of junk Hyundai.
Use the money you save with the minimal repair bills from your new Toyota/Honda and see a good dentist.
Just about everyone here will confirm that Toyota and Honda are excellent choices. You should check out Scotty's videos for specific models to avoid (some Toyota engines have oil burning problems, some Honda transmissions are troublesome). And if buying a used car always have a mechanic check it out before buying - condition is everything. Scotty's latest video has some tips on what to look for to avoid being scammed.

Although 2013 vehicle is dying is sad thing, I am still glad to see you can say goodbye with Korean cars.
Don’t buy Korean product except kimchi.
I recommend solid build Toyotas, they are more solid than real estate.
But, hey, I think go to see dentist is more important.
If considering another Korean car, get one without the Theta engine. The 2.0L and 2.4L have problems. All in all a 2013+ Honda Accord 6 speed Auto or 2015-2017 Camry are excelletn options. Stay away from American cars. If you can drive a standard transmission, hey a 2015 or so Mazda 6 would be fine with lower mileage.
