Hello everyone I need help to figure out the parts for the front brakes on my 2011 Toyota Highlander we now have 44,000 miles and we bought it last September with 38,000 miles I believe these are the original brakes I know you like Akebono pads what would be a good rotor to go along with the Akebono pads Thanks everyone

Are you having problems, stopping the vehicle?

No just had them measured and the drivers side is 3 mm less or 4mm vs 7mm close enough for a new set

Oh plus if they are the original brakes then they are 10 years old just time and would like to get the best out there thanks

Highlander is it a relatively heavy car , I would get the OEM ones.

I have a GX470, and replaced mine with Centric rotors and been very happy. I also regularly tow a good bit and haven't had any trouble. Paired with Akebono pads of course.

Thanks for the info

If you don’t have trouble stopping & your steering wheel/pedal doesn’t shake when braking at high speeds, leave the brakes alone.

Just flush out your brake fluid.

Change the brakes when you notice a drop in performance or see some abnormal symptoms.
