Hi Scotty, I am part of a Jeep Patriot group on Facebook. A few of the members that live up north (I’m in Florida) cannot get there local Jeep dealership to do warranty work. There is a recall for the subframe due to it rusting out. Unfortunately some of the dealerships will not touch the subframes because quote “there not rusted enough “ or “the owner has to replace other parts first like rusted control arms.” What would you advise to do because I think that we have enough of a base to take legal action. Your recommendations are truly appreciated. Thank you.
Start by writing a letter to Fiat. If you want to take legal action, consult an attorney who specializes in automotive law.
you could start with the firms that successfully sued Toyota for rusty frames
