Hi. I'm considering purchasing a new car in Virginia and live in North Carolina. So far my research is inconclusive on whether fees and taxes are paid to both states. Does anyone have any experience in purchasing a car in virginia and residing in north carolina? Thanks.

I have no idea I don't want taxes Tennessee you just pay the taxes where you are because you're registering it in your state maybe someone else is actually done it in those two states and can tell you
