2008 Honda Accord, 4 cyl, manual
Did this with a four year old battery, so I bought a new one.
When car hot and stopped, go to start and battery dead. Wait a few seconds starts up. Doing it with the new battery.

Hi jar it's time for a new starter as the heat up starters can short out and when they cool down they can work again that's typical on that particular Honda
