Dear Scott,

I have a 2015 Hyundai Tucson with 109,000 miles, original owner, automatic. The engine seized and Hyundai agreed to replace it. I'm afraid the gas is too old. Is there a fuel cleaner I can pour into the tank to clean it up? Also, anything else I should be aware of or do to insure this engine is instaled correctly and will last as long as possible? It sat for a few months anything else I should look at or be aware of to look for?

Unfortunately, these engines are not designed or built well.  You can be diligent on the oil changes but the engine is just prone to issues.  I would dump the vehicle in this super hot seller’s market if you can after it gets a new engine.

You're still only on your 1st engine?

Well if yours is a Nu-series GDi, not much - that's just how much they last.
