I have a 07 Nissan Murano. I recently had to install a new wheel stud on the front passenger side and I was required to remove the hub assembly to properly install the new stud. Since then ive noticed a new noise. To best describe it, it sounds like a high pitched blowing noise that you can really hear when you start the engine and when you accelerate the engine. Its not a squealing noise from the belt , its like a high pitched sound. Anyone have any ideas it sounds like it’s possibly on the passenger side of the engine but its hard to pinpoint, the noise is only audible when I fist start the car and while im driving and accelerating.
For a high pitched noise, I would suspect an intake air leak - there are a number of rubber hoses under your hood that are easily bumped out of place - or deteriorated in the last 15 years.
