Looking at the following and wondering your thoughts about either truck:
-2025 Ram 1500 v6 engine, 8 speed trans, no turbo's
vs
-2024 Ford F150 V6 engine with 2 turbo's, 10 speed transmission
both are crew cab, 4 wheel drive.
Thanks
Honestly, I would get neither the Ford EcoBoost V6 nor the Chrysler Hurricane I6. Toyota seems to have fixed the problems with their V6 twin turbo in the 2024 Tundra, so I would go for a new Tundra if I were you.
I would pass on both and get a recent model year Tundra with a V8. Chrysler has had nothing but problems with the Pentastar 3.6L engine over the years -I have one of the pistons from that exact engine that I found in a junkyard. It was from a 2010 Dodge Journey. I cleaned it up and plated it. That's a design from when Fiat took over Chrysler. They improved the design a little bit over the years, namely the heads. They made them too cheaply to be relevant over the long-term, as is typical for Chrysler. They went bankrupt twice.
I was looking at the 3.6 Pentastar engine that has no turbo, natural.
