Hello

I am a young professional from Europe and want to award myself for my first job. I was looking for a car for around 15000 euros max. Which means a brand new VW polo/Seat Ibiza/Skoda Fabia 1.0 turbo petrol engine. But, i kinda like the w204 Mercedes c220 CDI coupes 2013 year, which go around 12000 euros. Whats your advice?

I would go new for the warranty myself since the price is so close.

If the warranty of the polo/ibiza/fabia covers the time that you expect to own the vehicles, get those.

The merc is much nicer but some of them can develop quite expensive issues, the 7 speed DCT for example isn't cheap to fix when (not if) it does break.

If you plan on changing it in 5-7 years or so, and youre doing pretty short distances, the polo is going to be fine. But that 1.0 3 cylinder engine is gonna burst pretty quickly if its longer commutes.

check out a Golf with the 2L tDi engine maybe, 15k would buy one only three or four years old.
