Hey Scotty love all the videos and one of your biggest fan. What are your thoughts on nissan 5.6L v8 motor and transmission because I'm thinking about buying a nv3500 hd passenger van. Anything major I should look out for or expect?

Your cable company probably took the lowest bid for vehicles so I wouldn't put much faith in their anecdotal info. Research the hell out of them and make up your own mind.
Love to see an answer to this one. I am currently looking at a 2013 with the 5.6L V8. 163k miles and curious if it is end of its life or if I can get a few years out of it.
Don't expect it to be the same quality as an old Ford E-350, but as far as the quality it's probably the best new van you can buy. the Nissan V8 is a great engine and the 7 speed automatic is as good as modern transmissions get IMO.
my local cable company uses them and likes everything about them except the 13 city,16 highway mpg.
