Hello, I truly hope you can respond to my message. I am in desperate need of getting my car fixed. I have a 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5 S CVT Coupe. Unfortunately I spend a few thousands on it and will be sad to just sell it for about 1,500.
my car will not move at ALL. When driven for about 40mins it slows down dramatically and makes a very tiring sound; both the brake and accelerator get very loose. Now the steering wheel won't want to turn. It forces the axel to stay toward. I have done so much to fix my car and worst part is from ALL the mechanics that have checked it they have no idea what it is.
I've changed the spark plugs, radiator, all the oils, changed the thermostat,...
I would hate to give up because me as an independent woman I just can't let it go without knowing what was truly wrong with it. With all the knowledge I've have learned just with this Nissan. My last diagnostics say it is the transmission. I would agree, yet I have not trusted any mechanics. I haven't moved/driven the Nissan since August 2021
Please, if you could help me.
No he knows things I can guarantee you these CVT transmission has crapped out and they cost a fortune you can either try to use junkyard one or just give up ghosts and sell the stupid thing. Realize companies like CarMax and carvana especially carvana they come and buy your car they bought a car from a customer of mine they didn't even drive it and if it takes that long for it to slip they might just buy and give you money who knows
😣 😭 Thank you Scotty. I was planning in fixing it before selling it. I guess not. It has way too many problems.

If you’re offered decent money for it, like Scotty mentioned, why even bother?
