Hi! I'm from the Philippines, planning to get a Nissan Exalta because it looks nicer compare to its competitors. But I'm just wondering if it's fuel efficient? What are the things I should check? Thanks!

To anyone answering the Exalta is similar to the Sentra

Never had both 😅
I have a Ford Focus hatchback 2009 right now but I'm selling it in a very low price because it has issues. Now, after selling I'm getting an Exalta. Or should I get Corolla 1999?

Back in 2000, Nissan was making good stuff. However, both your options are 20+ yrs old.

I’d buy the one which was in better mechanical shape, after a good mechanic checks it out.

Don't bother about fuel economy in a 21 yr old vehicle. Just be happy it runs & drives normally/safely.

If you care about fuel economy, buy a late model Honda Jazz.

Thank you for the response! And sorry it took me a while to get back. Well, I ended up getting a Toyota Vios 2013 back in March and Sold it again because I'm so broke! I don't have any car now hehe thanks to pandemic. Oh well, keep safe to all of us!

No worries, hang in there.

Corolla vs Sentra Exalta

I'd get the Corolla though make sure to have a mechanic check it out and check the Used Car Buying Guide below to do research on buying a car, and years to avoid.

Both cars are old so I wouldn't pay much keep in mind both might need some work, that is why a pre purchase inspection is needed.
