Hey i have a 1993 nissan maxima and when ever i try to lock it via key or with the buttons on the door it doesnt work, but what I recognized is that it works when its cold outside. Does anybody know whats wrong with it im going to have to drive to school when it starts and i dont wanna get my car broken into.

John it's the other way around they don't work when they're cold and they work when they're hot if they don't work when they're hot you must have some type of electrical failure that cold the metal is closer together and then when it gets hot and expands it doesn't work anymore like bad circuitry on the computer module that activates the locks

did you try changing the battery?
