I have a Nissan rogue 2010 129K, first time in the morning when i crank ,it hesitates a bit to start ,but never hesitates at all after that. I see crank motor takes khi.khi.khi.khi, 4 revs single try (not 4 key ignition off on crank cycles)and then it starts right after.
I even tried to split pattern like khi.khi..gap...khi khi and it starts right up. I am not sure why it takes 4 khi's only very first time.
Can you help me find out most possible culprit here.

Have the battery tested. A weak battery can do that after sitting for hours.
Spark plugs. Air filter. Dirty throttle body.
Fuel injectors may be gummed up.
Thanks Carlos for your reply, i replaced all 4 spark plugs with original NGK + original PCV valve at 128K from dealer, no issues with vehicle other than that ,
I bought at 119K from an independent dealer 3 years back.
Do you think its spark plug issue, its brand new and absolutely 0 drivability issues, very smooth.
I have a scan tool ,no misfire or any kind of DTCs at all. very strange.....
I would check to verify fuel pressure at first start to make sure it’s not bleeding off over night causing your concern it may just be a very slow leak back to the tank
