Hey scotty. Im looking at a 2016 nissan titan xd 4x4 with 78k miles on it for $30k, what is your opinion on this truck? Is it reliable? What are the problems it has?

I have a 2016 XD diesel and has been the best truck I’ve ever owned. Depending on which model you have, 30k isnt a bad price at all.

While the Frontier is actually an okay truck the Titan had had reliability issues. I wouldn't buy one.

I'd advise not, mainly because its the AWD version, and that price! I'd go a used high trim 2015+ F150 with a V8! Thats where $30K is going to last you, you can find a nicely equipped Lariat with <70K miles between $28K and $31K! I would also say Tacoma or Tundra but for anything newer than 2015 its going to be a bit hard to find a higher trim level with <75K miles.

RUN, RUN, RUN AWAY.

Tundra

The diesels are strong with not many issues but I would recommend you found a 17 or newer because those come with a 7 year 100k basic and powertrain warranty

5/100. I was lucky to have that thrown in when I bought my 16 Cummins

Not the best truck, and at $30k a very easy pass for me.
