What’s your point?  Consumer Reports is just as bad as the main stream news media.  We’ve talked about Consumer Reports and their ratings before if you do a search on our forum:

That’s why I am not subscribing to consumer report

Consumer reports are guessing, but they have less common sense than average - in this case they're very wrong.

I remember ages ago when Consumer Reports "top-rated" the Fiat 128. Hilarity then ensued amongst their trusting readers who took that rating as gospel.

@ChuckTobias That's actually amazing {pear}:laughingoutloud:

Well, that settles it! I am going out tomorrow to trade my 2004 Toyota Avalon XLS and my wife's 2013 Honda Accord Touring V6 (both of which are in excellent condition, by the way) and gets me and her a brand spankin' new Sentra and Rouge.

The only Rogue I would buy is this one:

I had to look that one up. Is that a '67 343 V8 with 280 hp and 365 lb-ft of torque? Bet she scooted along quite nicely!

Yes, that's the one - that engine in a small, light car moved out pretty well! Too bad Nissan "stole" the name for their crummy SUV. (I have a '67 Rambler with that 343 V8 but it's the larger Rebel.)

Although this definition of 'Rouge' from the Oxford English Dictionary does concern me a bit: 😕

  • a person or thing that behaves in an aberrant, faulty, or unpredictable way.
    "he hacked into data and ran rogue programs"
  • an inferior or defective specimen among many satisfactory ones, especially a seedling or plant deviating from the standard variety.
