Hey Scotty I have a 2014 Jetta SE when I go to initiate the high beams nothing pops up on the dash I know it’s a electrical issue is there anything I can try before I have to take it to the dealership?
Sorry if my words were misleading the high beams don’t work at all.
If the high beams work when you turn them on but the indicator light doesn't, it's likely the small indicator lamp is burnt out and needs replacing. This would require removal of the instrument cluster.
If you look on Ebay for 2014 Jetta instrument cluster for sale, you can see on a back side view how it is fastened in the car.
is there anything I can try before I have to take it to the dealership?
Check the high beam relay, check if the steering wheel stock actually works.
I wouldn't go to a dealership for that...
