Hello, my name is Larry and I have a question please, when I purchased my used 2015 Volvo S60 to the Volvo dealership because I was hearing a sound, they did diagnostics on the car and came to the conclusion that the rear shocks were making that noise. The shocks were replaced but the sound remained. I Brought the car back, they looked at it again and this time they said that this sound is coming from the brakes. I decided to go with a local repair shop after all, the car was looked at and I was told that there are no issues with my car, though the mechanic did mention that it could be the front suspension, nothing was found to be a problem with the suspension when the car was inspected again. The car is still making sort of a squeaking noise almost like the one that sounds like a dog toy being squished. The noise can only be heard when the car windows are opened. Would you have any possible suggestions on what the issue could be.
Appreciate all your help.
Thanks
Make a video of the noise, upload on YouTube and share the link here.
You should pinpoint the noise, but from what you described, it could be rubber parts in your suspension system that dried out. Get some AT205 and apply on them.
