Good morning hope everyone is doing well. What's everyone's reviews on Nitrous Oxide? My uncle modified his Civic to the max and was talking about buying a Nitrous Oxide Kit. I know there illegal in some states.

Ever heard the expression "bottles are for babies"?

The only reason someone uses nitrous oxide is because they are too lazy to actually make their car fast. Most of the guys I know that use it do it so they can walk around claiming they have a 500HP car....when in fact, off the bottle, it's a 300HP car. Search some online forums and you'll see what I mean.

Nitrous oxide is a pain to deal with and always damages the engine. ALWAYS. Even if you get a clean hit, you get carbon buildup each time you run spray and eventually it goes boom. Also, nitrous is extremely explosive and not dependable. To get the most out of it, it has to be used at the right temperature, installed the right way, etc. They call them "cheater kits" for a reason. Not to mention people run that stuff on their street cars and they street race with it, which is about the dumbest thing you can do.

Personally I have no respect for a fast nitrous car. I'm sorry, but that's my opinion on it. You can chuck a bottle in anything and make it fast for a few seconds. Show me a guy who turbocharged his Civic and can make passes all day long without needing to fill up a bottle....that I like to see and get impressed with.

TL;DR: The only reasons people run nitrous is because they are too lazy to make real power or don't know how to/can't afford to do a proper build.

Yessirrrr I've heard that saying but alright he said okay and isn't getting one

I wouldn't. That stuff does make your car fly- but it's very dangerous. If you have car that's modified to the max, keep that way because the last thing you want is something else to break on that.

I bet. He said okay to yours and mod mans response and isn't getting one
