New Jersey is the only state in America where it has to be full service. They are trying to make it self service. What do you guys think?

Wrong. Oregon, too.

I see absolutely no benefit from mandating full service. Get rid of it! I hate waiting for attendants when the station gets busy. It's inefficient ,  a waste of everybody's time, and makes longer line-ups.

I agree, just a huge waste.

Besides wasting time, they usually top off your gas tank after the pump automatically shuts off, which is not good for the EVAP system.

Definitely a huge waste of time and resources and just useless. I would really want to know why there is even such a mandate in the first place given I can't think of any benefits to it. If someone doesn't know how to pump gas into their car then they shouldn't even be given a drivers license in my opinion.

Been gone for over 25 years but having grown up in NJ...it's about effing time.

No reason in the world people can’t pump their own gas.. gas is expensive enough and then to tip someone to pump it for you is nuts. Not sure if all people tip but when I’ve traveled through Jersey it just seems like the right thing to do

I'd say it's way past time that this archaic prohibition against pumping one's own gas in the Peoples' Republic East be rescinded. One of the promises made though for self-pump gasoline has always been reduced prices, since the labor cost for pumping is eliminated. However you can bet your sweet bippy that prices will not go down at all if this measure passes. Instead, those drivers who want full service will pay a premium for it where offered.
