Scotty

i own a 2014 ford explorer xlt with 109,000 miles.

recently the airflow through the front vents, floor vents and defrost stopped working. dosent matter if its set on heat, defrost or a/c but the vents in the back for the passengers in the back 2 rows located on the roof panel do have flow. sometimes when i first turn it on there is flow coming out from the front but stops after about a minute.

what could this be and what can i check.

thanks

Glenn from Somerville,Ma

Check the fuse for the blower motor. If that's OK the blower motor or its controlling circuitry are probably bad. (You'd need a bidirectional scan tool to test the HVAC computer module.)
