Been to two repair shops and the Toyota dealer about my 2012 highlander limited that is making a clanking noise or thud from the front drivers side. Everyone could hear it but not diagnose. It happens when going straight turning backing up going forward braking and accelerating. I do not hear it on the highway. Its worst when turning. The dealer said it was that a spacer was put on backwards when someone changed my control arm. Going it fixed from our shop who did that work and that didnt help the sound. Thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

Did you check the wheel bearing?
