Hey Scotty I have a 2016 Honda Civic Touring 1.5L Earth Dreams Turbo Automatic with 85,036 miles I’m having a grinding Noise while I’m driving in the front thought it was the brakes and rotors changed them out and it still has the noise. When I am driving about 45 MPH and slow down then the break the noise and the feel is like the brakes and shakes the dash and checked the bearings it is fine. It just started since I came back from the dealership when I got a tire rotation & oil change. I’m kinda stumped.
Take it back to them & have them diagnose it. Obviously since it’s started after they worked on your car, they’ve messed something up & it’s their problem to fix.
Who changed the pads & rotors?
I changed the pads and rotors my self . They want to charge me a diagnostic fee and they said that if it is anything I have to pay out of pocket. Because they only moved the wheels from front to back. I’m going to contact the Bureau of Automotive Repair - California because they declined that anything is their fault.
Can you make a YouTube video of the noise & dash shaking, and post the link here?
