2007 Ford focus SE with a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine and automatic transmission. 158k miles.
Issue is the drive belt tensioner rattles and in turn so does the belt if we run AC and put transmission in gear and worsening with the steering wheel turned fully to one side. We just had the AC system rebuilt including a new compressor condenser desiccant filter can and manifold hoses at the compressor. Will changing out the tensioner fix the problem or would it be something else?

Start with the tensioner normally that's what goes wrong but also look to make sure everything is lined up correctly because if one of the pulleys is not lined up correctly it will make all kinds of noise
